Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson born to British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby & Chris Watson in Paris, France. When she was only five years old, she moved to Oxfordshire and went to at the Dragon School. Emma aged six when she decided she wanted to pursue a career as an actress. She was trained for many years at Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a full-time school of theatre in Oxford where she studied acting and singing. At the age of 10, she was performing and taking as the main character in several Stagecoach shows and school productions. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000), the film adaptation from J.K. Rowling's bestselling novel was cast for the first occasion in the year 1999. Emma was discovered by casting agents through Emma's Oxford theatre instructor. After eight continuous auditions, producers David Heyman told Emma and other applicants Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint that they had been cast as three of the leads Hermione Granger Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. The film's release Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) was Emma's film debut. It was also the most well-received film of the year. Its opening weekend and day ticket sales were record breaking. The film has been praised by critics for its film, as well as the performances of its three major young actors. The well-known British paper The Daily Telegraph called her acting performance as admirable. Emma's performance was nominated and won five awards later in the film.
