When she was still at high school in prep, Sarah was bitten by the acting bug from a young age. She was captivated by acting after being spotted by her drama instructor cutting through his yard so she could get to her field hockey class on time. Sarah was inspired to develop her skills in acting by taking the dual degree at Hamilton College at Hamilton College in English as well as Theater. Additionally, she studied theater in London as well as Oxford during her junior year. She was awed by learning about the arts was aided by her parents, her mother who was the chairperson for the English Department at the Convent of the Sacred Heart in Greenwich CT and her father an accomplished artist. In addition to her television acting, Sarah is an ambassador to her organization, the Alzheimer's Association and consistently speaks about Alzheimer's disease. Sarah hosted the most recent Sardi event, held in March of 2016, where she was host to three of the annual Sardi occasions. Sarah is a mother of three members on both coasts. She commutes between the two to jobs.
